Your First Visit
When you first arrive, you can expect to be warmly greeted by our front office team members. They’ll make you feel comfortable as you get to know our office and fill out your new patient forms. We love making our patients feel like we’re an office solely dedicated to their needs, and this is not lost during the first visit. We’ll capture X-rays of your teeth, then perform a detailed cleaning. Finally, one of our dentists will briefly speak with you to discuss any concerns, examine your mouth, then recommend treatment if needed.
Dental insurance is one of the best ways to cover many of your basic dental treatments. It’s a great option for saving money on care, which is why we are in-network with so many major insurance providers! We’ll make sure to gather all of your insurance information when you first arrive and manage your paperwork, so you can focus on your oral health.
We are in-network with the following insurances:
- Delta Dental
- United Concordia
- Electrical Workers 98
- Law Enforcement Health Benefits (L.E.H.B)
The costs of dental treatment can be difficult to meet, even if you have dental insurance. Thankfully, services like CareCredit make it far more manageable. This third-party financing company helps patients pay for dental care in more reasonable monthly chunks, often with little to zero interest. With their multiple payment plans, you can get your most important dental treatments taken care of and ensure positive long-term oral health for your family! Patient forms give our office an opportunity to learn more about the state of your current oral health. They also help us process insurance claims and payments and make sure that we are addressing your specific dental care needs in the most effective way possible. Please arrive for your new patient appointment 15 minutes ahead of schedule so you have time to fill them out. Alternatively, you can download and print them out yourself, then complete and bring them to our office to expedite your check-in process.
Afterhours Dental Emergencies
If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. If you have an afterhours emergency, you can reach Dr. Gutman by calling (215) 205-2124 to speak with the dentist directly.
We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your wait. Because we constantly treat dental emergency problems, unexpected delays may arise. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
